I landed once and though I'd lost my brakes until I realized I was on black ice, It was a bitch to taxi, especially in the X-wind. I ended up weather vainning into the wind and into a snow bank.
Walts account is very true about landing on ice. If there is much of a cross wind and it is slick you'll have a hell of a time taxiing.
You will also want to watch out for snow banks, especially at the smaller airports. Snow banks can be high late in the season, a nice camouflage white in color and hard as rock. Someone landed a 150 a little short, hit the snowbank, ripped off the nosewheel, gascolator and fuel lines. It caught fire before it stopped sliding on its nose and burned to a crisp. The pilot got out ok.
