Internet

We offer the following hands-on classes:

• An introduction to the Internet
• Searching for information on the Internet

We can customize these courses for your needs.

These classes are normally taught at Southwest Cyberport. The network there is fast; students spend their time on the topic, not waiting for things to load. If you have a good connection to the Internet in a classroom setting, the class can easily be taught at your site.

The instructor, Kenneth Ingham, has many years of computer and network related teaching experience. He has also been using the Internet since the early days and will give the students a firm grasp of the "big picture."

UNIX

We offer UNIX training, either customized for your needs or one of our already prepared classes. In particular, we can aim the class at whatever flavor of UNIX you use. We have experience with most versions of UNIX.

The existing classes are:

• A Hands-on UNIX Introduction
• A Hands-on HP-UX Introduction (a HP-specific version of the intro class)
• Hands-on UNIX System Administration
• Hands-on HP-UX System Administration (a HP-specific version of the admin class)

We believe that you learn best by doing. Therefore these classes emphasize helping you develop the skills needed to get your job done (and have a little fun while you are at it).
